Just days before WWDC 2022, the lucky winners of this year’s Swift Student Challenge began receiving free WWDC 2022 mementos and Apple AirPods Pro. Winners also receive one year of membership in the Apple Developer Program.

Souvenirs include a WWDC22-branded sweater, a beanie with the yellow Apple logo, and a set of custom WWDC22 pins.

As part of the prize package, the winners received a card from Apple that read:

The annual Swift Student Challenge is a coding challenge that asks students to create a Swift Playground project on a topic of their choice.

WWDC 2022 will take place online June 6-10, with sessions and other content available for free on Apple’s website and the Apple Developer app. At the keynote, Apple is expected to announce its latest software platforms including iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, watchOS 9, and tvOS 16, and there’s always the potential for a hardware announcement or two at the event.

There will be an in-person component of WWDC 2022, as Apple will host a special day on June 6 at Apple Park for randomly selected developers to watch keynote and platform State of the Union videos and tour certain areas of the campus. Will do
