A man has died and a woman has been injured after being shot multiple times in Barcelona. According to police sources, the Mossos are looking for a motorcyclist who entered a bar near the Sant Roc metro on Avinguda del Marques de Montroig and opened fire.
The shooting began shortly before 11:30 p.m., when a man wearing a black motorcycle helmet entered a bar and shot and killed the owner of the premises. The police is probing the cause of the attack and trying to clarify whether the shots were directed at the woman as well or whether she was a collateral injury.
Catalan police are now searching the area for a suspect in a new attack with firearms in Catalonia. On 3 May two men were shot dead at the door of a hotel in Salou where families and children were staying. Mossos suspects that this is a settlement of accounts by organized crime.
