Apple today shipped the second beta versions of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 to developers for testing purposes, and the new beta versions introduce new features and refine some of the changes Apple made with the first release of iOS 16 Were.

When customizing a photo on the lock screen, two new overlay options for changing the look of a photo are Duotone and Color Wash.

In the Settings app, the Wallpaper section has been changed to make it easier to customize the different wallpapers you set for your home screen and lock screen. There are new “customize” options on the lock screen and home screen options to make it clear that there are settings that can be adjusted.
There is also an option to “set as wallpaper pair” when you choose your look.
Apple Cash and Apple Card
The Apple Cash “send and request” interface was changed in the second beta of iOS 16. It’s now a combined button instead of two separate buttons, and the balance is more clearly displayed.
For Apple Card, the “Weekly Activity” section also tells you how much Apple Cash you’ve earned throughout the week. you

There is now a “Save to Sticky Note” option when saving a screenshot, joining the Save to Photos, Save to Files, and Delete Screenshot options.

For better organization, developers can classify incoming SMS messages from unknown numbers into 12 subcategories along with transaction and promotional categories, according to Apple’s release notes.
For users in India, Messages supports SMS event extraction. Event and appointment messages are displayed as Siri Suggestions and also presented to users in message threads and calendar inboxes.
iPadOS 16 Stage Manager
In iPadOS 16 beta 2 on supported iPads, there is a new Stage Manager setting in the “Home Screen & Dock” section of the Settings app. Shows options to hide recent apps and hide dock when using Stage Manager.
spam report
For some US carriers, Messages in iOS 16 beta 2 expands the “Report Spam” feature to allow users to report spam SMS/MMS messages to carriers.

The translation app now supports Turkish, Thai, Polish, Indonesian and Dutch.
Healthkit API
For developers, the HealthKit Training API supports multi-sport training with activities including swimming, cycling and running.
iOS 16 beta 2 also adds HealthKit support for new running training metrics that Apple announced at WWDC. Training metrics include running power, ground contact time, vertical oscillation, running speed, and stride length.
