MagSafe battery pack can now charge at a faster rate of 7.5W after firmware update
Apple this week released a firmware update for the MagSafe battery pack that allows the battery pack to wirelessly charge the iPhone at speeds of up to 7.5W, which is higher than the previous 5W limit.
We have shared step-by-step instructions on how to update MagSafe Battery Pack firmware. The firmware version can be checked on the iPhone in the Settings app under General > About > MagSafe Battery Pack.
Kuo: iPhone 14 models likely to have better autofocus front cameras
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, all four iPhone 14 models launching later this year are likely to feature an improved front-facing camera with autofocus and a wider /1.9 aperture.
Kuo said these camera updates could lead to better depth-of-field effects for Portrait Mode photos and videos, while autofocus could improve focus during video calls in apps like FaceTime and Zoom.

Apple Seeds Second Beta of iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5
Apple this week seeded the second beta versions of iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 for developers and public beta testers. As of now, these updates have only minor changes, such as changes to Apple Pay Cash.
iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 will be the last notable updates before the announcement of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16. Apple has also given preference to the second beta versions of macOS Monterey 12.4, watchOS 8.6 and tvOS 15.5.

Netflix loses subscribers for the first time in 10 years, blames account swaps
Netflix announced this week that it lost 200,000 subscribers in the first quarter of 2022, marking the streaming service’s first quarter-on-quarter subscriber decline in a decade.
In a letter to shareholders, Netflix said its revenue growth “has slowed significantly,” with the company blaming “a large number of account sharing households” and “competition” as reasons for the decline.
